How to reach The Hive Beach
The Hive Beach is on Hulhumalé in Kaafu Atoll, about 3 km from Velana International Airport (MLE) on neighbouring Hulhulé — a short taxi along the road link, with no bridge or boat involved. Airport buses run between Hulhumalé and the airport too. A complimentary return airport taxi transfer is provided, taking around 10 minutes.
An airport taxi is inexpensive — typically MVR 60–100 (about $4–8) on the fixed fares, taking 10–20 minutes; the public airport shuttle bus costs even less. No ferry or speedboat is needed — the islands are connected to the airport by road.

- Fly to Malé. Arrive at Velana International Airport (MLE), the Maldives' main international gateway, served by direct flights from Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
- Airport taxi (road link). A short taxi ride along the road link from the airport — about 3 km, no boat needed.
